A rainbow as we know is the riot of colors that you get in a rainbow as in VIBGYOR. But why is a diet named after it? The answer to this question is not complicated as such. It just means that you bring in the colors of the fruits and vegetables into your diet. The natural products that we get have some astounding colors, and each comes with some benefits. You have the violet, green, yellow, orange, red, and a lot more in the daily fresh produce that we use at home.

While each of us has preferences and likes and dislikes, what the nutritionists are saying is that we need to have a rainbow every day. This is because we derive significant benefits from these natural colored substances. This also makes up for a variety in our diet, while being balanced and healthy as well.
