If you have been facing any kind of issues with your pension, then there is help at hand. The first step of redressal for such matters is of course with the bank where you have the pension account, and then, you may also approach the respective government department. If, however, despite all this, your grievance has not been addressed, you may also use the pension portal set up by the government - www.pensionersportal.gov.in.
This portal is meant for central government pensioners and has a grievance registration system, and the complainants can expect a response to their query, though a timeframe for the same is not mentioned on the site yet. This website is a good initiative by the government to help out elders, who are often seen struggling with their pension queries and no one seems to know the answers. You may use this option to figure out the solutions to those issues for which you are getting satisfactory answers concerning any discrepancies with your pension.
Mode 1
Go to the home page for on the pensioners portal. You find the Aggrieved option on the left-hand top corner, under which you find Pension Related option (marked with the blue arrow in this picture). Please click on this option to proceed and you get the below screen.
Click on Lodge Your grievance option (Marked with the blue arrow in the picture) on the right-hand side, and you get the below screen. If you need the same in Hindi, there is an option to change the language on the top left-hand corner from English to Hindi. (Marked in a yellow arrow in the picture above).
Fill in the required details like Department from which retired, name, address, PPO (Pension Payment Order) number, etc. If any previous grievance reference numbers are there, you can mention the same as well as upload any documented proof of the same, if existing. Provide all mandatory details and click on submit and your grievance will be registered and taken note of. You will be provided with a registration number, and the same will also be sent to you via email/SMS if the pertaining details have been provided. If you have not provided email or mobile number during the submission, then please note down this registration number after you submit, when it is flashed on the screen. This can be used for reference purposes for following up or viewing the status later on.
Mode 2
There is another way to reach the grievance redressal page from the home page.
On the home page, you may choose the CPENGRAMS menu option from the main menu on the top (marked with a blue arrow in the picture). This will take you to the below screen.
In this screen you may click on Individual Pensioners click here to lodge grievance option, which will again take you to the same page to fill all details as in the previous Mode 1 option. Complete details and submit as mentioned in Mode 1.
Other options
You may also use this site to send reminders, feedback, or view the status of your grievance.
In this screen, apart from lodging, you will also find Send Reminder/Clarification, View Your Grievance Status, Feedback, Contact Us and Help option. You will need to use your registration number for the same, so keep it handy and fill in the details.
